#3 218 v England, Kennington Oval, 2016
A double ton away from home is always special. That it came in England makes it even more special. In one of Pakistan’s best away tours in a decade, Younis Khan anchored a mammoth score of 542 batting at no.5 in response to England’s 328. Younis added 150 for the fourth wicket with Asad Shafiq (109), 77 for the seventh wicket with Sarfraz Ahmed (44) and then a phenomenal 97 for the ninth wicket with Mohammad Amir.
England could only score 253 in their second innings, leaving Pakistan to chase down just 40 runs in the final innings which they did without losing any wickets. Pakistan drew the series 2-2, coming from behind, thanks to this memorable Younis double, his 218 coming off 308 deliveries with 31 fours and four sixes against a bowling attack that had James Anderson, Stuart Broad and Steven Finn.
