The fifth and final game of the T20I series between Zimbabwe and India will be played on July 14. The Harare Sports Club in Harare will be hosting this clash. The India tour of Zimbabwe comes to an end on Sunday.

India were on the brink of sealing the series coming into the fourth T20I. They displayed a solid performance on Saturday to get an unassailable lead in the series. Zimbabwe won the series opener but failed to emulate the same performance in the next three games.

In the fourth T20I, Zimbabwe were asked to bat first. Wessly Madhevere (25) and Tadiwanashe Marumarni (32) gave them a solid start. Skipper Sikandar Raza (46) played an outstanding cameo to take his side to 152/7 at the end of their 20 overs. It was a collective effort from the Indian bowlers.

In reply, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill came out all guns blazing. They played some fantastic shots and the Zimbabwean bowlers had no answers to the onslaught. Jaiswal and Gill remained unbeaten on 93 and 58 respectively as they took India across the line in just 15.2 overs.

India were ruthless in the fourth T20I. They outplayed Zimbabwe to win the game by 10 wickets and take an unassailable lead in the series. They will be looking to finish the series on a high and win the series by a 4-1 margin.

Zimbabwe, on the other hand, will have to bring out their A-game on Sunday to grab a consolation win. They haven’t been able to fire in unison since that first game and will be hoping to get that right on Sunday.
