Pankan Advani advances to RKG-KHAR Gymkhana Snooker Masters 2013 semi-finals

Ace cueist Pankaj Advani , Siddharth Parikh, England’s world no. 21 Stephen Lee and Michael Hold won their respective quarterfinals matches and advanced to next stage of RKG-KHAR Gymkhana Snooker Masters 2013.

In the first quarterfinal match, world no.21 Lee defeated local favourite and title contender Yasin Merchant 5-2 (quarterfinal matches were best of 9).

The second quarterfinal was played between Aditya Mehta and Siddharath Parikh. Parikh stunned Aditya Mehta 5-4 in a thrilling contest and registered his first career victory against him. After the win parikh siad:-”I have been playing well since yesterday.I just went for my shots today and i am happy to have beaten him.It’s an honour to beat Mehta who has been playing at world PRO curcit for last few years and He is a solid player.”

Third quarterfinal match saw Kamal Chawla pitted against Pankaj advani. Pankaj Advani won this contest comprehensively by 5-4 and qualified for semifinals of 22 lakhs RKG-KHAR Gymkhana snooker masters 2013.

Last quarterfinal match was played between Michael Holt and Shahbaaz Adil Khan.Michael hold out classed Shahbaaz khan and won the match without much difficulties by 5-2.
