Lampre unveils experienced Tour team

Italian cycling team Lampre on Tuesday unveiled an experienced team for this year’s Tour de France, with an average age of 29.

Damiano Cunego, 31, who was sixth in the overall classification in 2011, will lead the team, which also includes 33-year-old Polish climber Przemyslaw Niemiec, who finished sixth in the Giro in May.

Adriano Malori, winner of the Tour of Bavaria in May, is also selected.
