Dutch rider Bauke Mollema, second in last week’s Tour of Switzerland, will lead the Blanco team’s assault on the Tour de France which gets underway in Corsica on June 29.
“We’re targeting a top 10 finish,” declared Blanco’s sporting director Nico Verhoeven at the unveiling of their team for the blue riband of cycling on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old climbing specialist Mollema is joined by among others his compatriot Robert Gesink, fifth in the 2010 Tour de France.
