3 Million copies sold worldwide for Super Smash Bros

Super smash Bros has a unique element to it’s rules of fighting, instead of eliminating the opponent, players must knock them over out of the boundary while of course they both face damages and injuries. Plus you get to fight your ever so loved cartoon and game characters.

After selling more than a million copies just in Japan, this game is at the brink of a ‘sell out’ and it looks like super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS is on it’s way to becoming the world’s best seller. It was announced today by Nintendo that it has sold more than 2.8 million copies in America, Europe, and Australia.

Nintendo made an announcement saying that –

“Strong launches in the Americas, Europe and Australia* have propelled the cumulative sales total for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS to more than 2.8 million sold worldwide. This first-ever portable installment of the game has resonated both with fans and critics, and its initial sales set Nintendo up for a strong holiday season.”

This is not all, it has been stated that announcement of the official release date of Super Smash Bros for Wii U will extend its fame to the holiday season.

The 3DS has already been a hit, however the Wii U continues to struggle but it is sure to turn things around.
