According to reports, SEGA has confirmed that Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly's upcoming survival-horror game based on the acclaimed sci-fi series, has gone gold ahead of the release, and launched the first in a new series of trailers to commemorate. For those not familiar with gaming lingo, "gone gold" means development has finished, and the game is now headed to factories for mass production ahead of its release and to be boxed up in preparation for worldwide release on October 7.
In other news, with still a month to go before the game launches, Sega announced that it has created a series of short trailers for Alien: Isolation called How Will You Survive, the first of which was released today. This should keep us fans excited. They announced a total of nine trailers, with the first one out already. The series of videos is meant to show the challenge that the players will have to face in surviving throughout the game.
