Fans will have to wait till March 2015 to get their hands on the upcoming first person shooter Battlefield Hardline. The game developers Visceral said that this game will be released in North America on March 17th and in Europe on March 19th. This new date is for all platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The game was already released for Alpha Test and was delayed after receiving many complaints, and EA Sports CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed this news earlier for fans. He also said the extra time for release gives the developers to polish the game, respond to feedback, and add new features.
The announcement came from the EA’s Quarterly Earnings call, where the company announced a profit of $232 million for the quarter. For this calendar year so far, EA said that they are the top publishers in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, by releasing games like FIFA 15, NHL 15, Madden NFL 15, EA Sports UFC, Titanfall, Battlefield 4, and FIFA 14. They also revealed that players recorded more than 1.9 billion hours of gameplay across the consoles and PC.
