Best Buy now offering buy one get one 50% off on all 3DS games from Nintendo

With the holiday season coming about Best Buy has announced that it will be having a buy one get one 50% off offer on all the Nintendo published 3DS games which will end this Saturday, November 15. So by purchasing one game at full price, you get a 50% discount on the second. The second deal being offered by Best Buy includes a 3DS XL for just $175.

Third party published titles do not apply here though and the games are only limited to the Nintendo 3DS console. But despite this, there are still quite a number of titles to choose from such as the recent Super Smash Bros. release for 3DS, Pokemon X and Y as well as some of the older titles like the popular Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Here is a full list of games included in this promotion by Best Buy. The deal seems definitely worth it if you are looking to buy some of the cheaper titles such as Pokemon Y which is on sale for about $33.99. So you will get two titles for the price of a regular console game. The deal is available in stores as well as online.

Target is also offering a few deals from their end. So with every two game purchase from target you get one more free. You will still have to pay for the two highest priced games though. The great thing about this offer is that it applies to all games including those for the Nintendo 3DS as well as every other console. In comparison, Best Buy’s deals looks a bit limited. But if you’re short on cash, then Best Buy seems like the better option as it just requires one game purchase. The offer for Target ends this Sunday, 17th November.
