The western release date for the upcoming PlayStation 4 game Bloodborne has been confirmed. This exclusive game is still under development at From Software, and is being directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, best known for directing Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. The game was announced at Sony's Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 media briefing on June 9, 2014, and was set to be released in Japan on February 5, 2015. The western release date has now been finally confirmed and fans in the west can experience the brutal fast paced combat blended with horror, gore and sickly terrifying enemy designs, all just 1 day after the Asian countries, on February 6, 2015.
Sony has also revealed a special collector's edition for Bloodborne. This special edition comes in a steel book game case, along with an art book and a digital soundtrack at the cost of $79.99, and can be pre-ordered now.
Also for those who pre-order the game from any participating retailer or through the PlayStation store get an exciting pre-order downloadable content. In Bloodborne, hunters have special companions known as messengers that have creeped up out of a nightmare world and facilitate some of the online game play features. Pre-ordering the game allows you to download an exclusive alternate skin for these messengers.
