Destiny Iron Banner event goes live

The last time we heard from Bungie they were seeking out means to improve Iron Banner through special events(check our report here) and now the new event for the game has gone live for all platforms thus providing players with new gear to earn, and help them in increasing the level cap from previous Iron Banner events. The Iron Banner now features five ranks, and each rank will allow the player to unlock different items. You can find a full list of the rank requirements, below.

However there are new constraints in the game , the Iron Banner event in Destiny restricts players under Level 20 from accessing the mode, but those that are under level 20 can accompany friends in the event. The verdict’s still out on how well they’ve implemented it, but Bungie says that Level Advantages have been enabled for this Iron Banner. Defensive Ratings affects how much damage a player can take, and attack ratings affect how much damage the player can dole out. Bungie does say that lower level players will upgraded weapons will still be threat though.Like previous Iron Banner events, participants will need to report to Lord Saladin in the Tower to complete bounties and purchase gear, weapons, and items exclusive to the event.
