According to reports, the details for the upcoming futuristic DLC for Battlefield 4, titled Final Stand has been given out by DICE, letting us know exactly what can be expected from it.
Operation Whiteout, Hammerhead, Giants of Karelia, and Hanger 21 are the four maps included with Final Stand and they are all set in a wintry Russia during an age and time where scientists are experimenting with prototype weapons and vehicles. DICE has shared two of the exciting prototypes, which is a hover tank and a rail-gun that fires a single shot of kinetic energy.
DICE will be testing the pre-release versions of the Final Stand maps on the company's Community Test Environment (CTE) from today. The CTE was started earlier this year as a means for improving the game's numerous issues following its rough launch last year.PC players who are enrolled in the ongoing CTE program will be able to play on one map from the upcoming DLC on each day this week. If you would like to sign for the CTE, just make sure you have a PC Premium account in order to do so.
