Dota 2 to undergo some sweeping changes with the introduction of a new patch

A couple of months back, we reported that the Dota 2 champions will be earning more than the FIFA World Cup winners. And now fans are going to see a lot of changes with Dota 2 with the introduction of a new patch called ‘update 6.82’, also called as ‘Rekindling Soul’. A new item and a rune will be introduced in the game along with some changes in the balance. The fountain has also been elevated making it tougher for our enemies to sit idle and kill us when our character respawns.

A lot of characters have undergone changes including the way they play. Riki is a character whose main trait is invisibility, but now he loses it and also sees some of his other abilities reworked. Shadow Fiend has been given a rare Arcana Set and has his abilities slightly altered.

The game is the most actively played game on Steam and was released last year for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux.
