Driveclub, after many months of being delayed, has just gone gold, and will be ready to ship in the next month. Going gold means that development is done and the game is now pressed into CDs to be shipped.
Driveclub truly brings out the heart and soul of car culture. It is an incredible, ultra-real driving experience and one can experience all of this while sitting behind the wheel of some of the most powerful and beautifully designed cars in the world, all of which are incredibly detailed, inside and out as you race them in authentic actual locations around the world. This racing game from Evolution Studios was initially planned for a 2013 release, but was delayed to 2014 to allow further changes and updates. According to IGN, the game is now, back on track for its October release. A developer’s comment on the PlayStation Blog, gave us the wonderful news.
Director Paul Rustchynsky, in his comments said, "The game has gone GOLD. See you online in a few weeks!"
The PlayStation community manager, Chris Own, even posted on Twitter to confirm the announcement.
