Last month we reported about the absence of WWE Hall of Famer and former eleven time World Champion Edge from the roster of WWE 2K15 which is set to be released at the end of this month. And now, judging by his recent conversations with fans on twitter, we can indeed confirm that he won’t be a part of the game.
Even though he didn’t blatantly state the truth, the message was quite obvious from whatever he said. A fan first congratulated him for being part of the game without knowing the truth, to which Edge replied in a sarcastic manner. See that tweet and the reply below.
And then there was a fan who reminded him about the scanning procedures that takes place for superstars who are a part of the roster. Every superstar who is a part of the game has to get scanned in order to make them look realistic, and Edge confirmed that it’s been years since he has been scanned.

This clearly explains everything even though we haven’t heard officially anything yet from the game’s makers. It really is surprising because of the status that Edge has among the WWE fans worldwide and considering the fact he never really got in to a tangle with anybody before his retirement. Fans may express their displeasure at this and that might prompt the makers to bring the Rated R Superstar back for the next edition.
