As per IGN, Indian eSports company eSports Interactive Entertainment has announced a new Dota 2 tournament in association with Antec, Gunnar Optiks, Kingston Technology, Snapdeal, TrustPort and TteSports. The tournament will be starting on the 5th of April and will go on till 20th April.
The registrations for the tournament started on the 18th March and will end on 31st March. Teams are required to have five players to compete, as Dota 2 is a 5-on-5 multiplayer RPG game. The tournament is set to a feature double elimination format, and the top three teams will be eligible to win hardware prizes worth more than Rs 50,000.
Dubbed as Digital Wars Online-Season II, the tournament will be broadcast live on Twitch. The tournament videos will also be made available on YouTube on demand once the matches are done.
