Halo crosses 60 million sales

It has been 13 years since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved. At that time, who would have known that it would become such a great success, resulting in a number of games in the series and making it one of the most popular played game all over the world. Recently, Microsoft has announced that the Halo franchise has now exceeded over 60 million copies in sales since the first game which came out in 2001.

By far, Halo is Microsoft's most popular franchise on Xbox and Windows. It's incredible to think that Halo 3 has sold over 15 million copies since its release 7 years ago. That's a whole 15% of the total. The developers, Bungie, have left a great legacy behind and everyone is extremely happy of what 343 industries was able to accomplish with the Halo franchise as whole. With this, they've proven themselves to be capable of continuing this great legacy and everyone is excited about the upcoming sequel of the game Halo 5: Guardians. The franchise will make its debut on Xbox One platform with the release of Halo: Master Chief collection releasing next month.
