Halo: Matchmaking Update Released, Problems Persist

Halo: The Master Chief Collection has released its newest update of the game and it can now be downloaded on Xbox Live. When you begin the game, it will prompt you to download the latest update. Several setbacks of the game have been reported out of which matchmaking and the incompetence for gamers to enjoy the multiplayer features of the game are the biggest ones. Xbox chief Phil Spencer recently addressed these issues, promising fans on Twitter that the 343 Industries team are working very hard to mend the unbearable multiplayer waiting time.

Gamers expected that this new update will resolve the matchmaking performance problems, UI problems and several other issues which the users have been encountering ever since last week when the game released.

This new update was supposed to resolve all these glitches, but apparently it hasn’t. Message boards such a Twitter, Reditt are filled with criticism charged at 343 Industries for not being able to fix these issues even after the updates. It has already been a week since the release and till now only a part of the game is working properly (single player).

Most gamers are complaining that they’re getting hung up in “players found” and “connection to session” screen and are unable to remain connected to Xbox Live parties at the time of playing the game. Although a few gamers have stated that finding matches has become faster than before, but the wait time is still around 10-15 minutes.
