Mario Kart 8 - First DLC pack includes the classic release

The B DASHER Kart will be returning to Mario Kart 8 as a part of it’s first DLC pack tweeted Nitendo.

Having graced over the Mario Kart DS this will be an iconic Kart for this series. The DLC will include three new characters, four new carts and two whole cups consisting a total of 8 courses.

The theme of the pack is around The Legend of Zelda, but it has also been indicated that some elements will not fit the theme entirely.

The three characters are Link, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Peach, and one of the other karts is the Blue Falcon from F-Zero.

One of the cups should be totally based on levels from The Legend of Zelda. The second DLC pack is based on the Animal Crossing Theme with new characters introduced such as the Villager and Isabelle coming over form the series, one cup seems to fit the theme and along with them comes the Dry Bowser. There are no more information regarding this DLC pack.

The first DLC pack will hit this November and the second will arrive next year around May. Both sets of DLC sets are available for pre-order now for $7.99, but a bundle of the two is offered at a discounted price of $11.99 which also unlocks various color options for Yoshi and Shy Guy.
