New Gran Turismo 7 to release in 2015-2016

The racing franchise Gran Turismo is to have a possible release in the year 2015- 2016 for their next series entry,Gran Turismo 7 revealed creator, Kazunori Yamauchi. It is also stated that the PS4 hardware will make the development process much less painful than the last installment.

Yamauchi told Games TM “Everything will be running naturally. PS3 was much, much more difficult. The high quality of data that we have being rendered on the PS4 I think is going to make an incredible difference.”

However in the IGN’s Gran Turismo 6 review, the content and the tight controls were praised, but they lacked the sound design which downgraded muscle engines to a more buzz, and the inconsequential results of otherwise life threatening mistakes held this game back from being the best in its series.

Yamauchi also stated that he and the team at Polyphony were aware of what could not accomplished and that the next installment will feature more pace with modern design, he added, “For GT7, myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn’t do in GT6,” he said. “We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it’s going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016.”
