One of the most popular games developed by the Mojang 4J Studios, Minecraft will be released for the PlayStation 4 on September 4. The price of the game is said to be around $20 USD, confirmed PlayStation.
Users of the PS3 version of the game will be able to upgrade to the PS4 for a fee of $5.00 USD. The players who have a saved game of the PS3 version and are signed into their PS 4 console with the same SEN account are also given access to the upgrade.
“For those looking for the ultimate Minecraft experience, the PS4 Edition will feature worlds 36 times bigger than the ones you might be used to on the PS3 system,” they wrote in the official statement. “Existing players will be able to import PS3 saves to the PS4 Edition, allowing them to continue work on their immense structure or delve even deeper towards the Nether.”
PS3 saves of the game can also be imported to the PS 4 edition which is said to be 36 times bigger than the PS3 version.
