Resident Evil Revelations 2- Rating description hints on playable characters

The rating description for Resident evil Revelations 2 has been released by The ESRB, and it comes with a chunk of information regarding the game's plot and playable characters. "This is an action-adventure game in which players assume the roles of an imprisoned woman and a father searching for his daughter on an island," reads the ESRB rating.

The people being discussed here are probably Claire Redfield, Barry Burton, and his daughter Moira. "A father searching for his daughter on an island", presumably is related to Barry. The interesting part is the wording of "players assume the roles of ", indicating that Barry will be playable.

The "imprisoned woman," presumably has something to do with either Claire or Moira. It may perhaps be that Moira gets kidnapped, part-way through the game, and players then play Barry, to rescue her. Then, after Moira is freed, she becomes the second character that follows Barry around. Or, it could be that Claire gets kidnapped, and Moira somehow runs into Barry. We can't possibly be sure.

Hopefully there will be more answers early next year when the episodic Resident Evil releases for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Check out the first trailer here.
