Street Fighter IV Omega update will be bringing character changes

Omega Edition is the next update to the Ultra Street Fighter lV. This edition will bring a new mode to the game and with it changes to how players favorite World Warriors.The Edition is available under the Edition select option, in the free Omega Edition; the game will bring you a total of 6 editions. It will not be including the Red Focus and the Ultra Combo Double system, which was introduced in the Ultra version of the game.

However. instead, all 44 characters will see additions and changes to their fighting styles.

• Ryu: Forward + HP + HK performs a Hanagashi, which activates damage-nullifying armor. Ryu also gains new target options and new defensive and offensive options
• Ken: Using two bars of EX meter activates Shippu Jinraikyaku, a powerful multi-hit move. The move can be combo-ed into, which means Ken fighters will need to readjust their meter management. There's also the Reppu Hadoken, a new kick move.
• Chun Li: She also gets a two-bars EX meter multi-hit move, the Houyoku-Sen. Fans may recognize it as a SFIII move. Her Kikoken has been changed from a charge to a command move, and changes have been made to many of her command normals and specials have also been changed. Hakkei nullifies other players' projectiles.
• Edmund Honda: Zuri Fukaga, a sumo-inspired move based on the Yorikiri, where a sumo wrestler pushed their opponent out of the ring by their belt. This move hits the opponent twice on different levels, and the EX version adds a third strike. Another sumo-inspired move is the salt toss.
• Blanka: The Brazilian fighter gets the Lightning Mole move that allows him to charge up, disappear into the ground, and strike. Two bars of EX let Blanka perform the Lightning Grenade, which is an invincible hop into Lightning. He also gains the ability to perform moves from the Coward Crouch.
• Zangief: Pressing forward + FP performs a small jumping headbutt. The Russian Stomping multi-level move sets opponents up for throws.
• Guile: Multiple Sonic Booms are now possible. Hitting two punch buttons during the EX version will throw a second and possibly third Boom at the expense of a bar of meter.

Dhalsim: Yoga Legend uses two bars of EX to hit the opponent multiple times and launch them into the air. Links into a mid-hit Yoga Chop.

This update release has not been revealed yet though but it is said that Capcom will continue to release updates on the new moves for fighters in the coming week.
