Ubisoft is aware of Assassin's Creed: Unity problems

assassin's creed unity

Anyone who has recently purchased Assassin’s Creed: Unity will know that the game is plagued with bugs and glitches. It was even mentioned in the review of the game. These issues are present on all platforms of the game and is even rendering it unplayable for a few players. Ubisoft had released a Day One patch for the game which seemed to have fixed a few of these problems though a large number of them still persist.

These issues include slow frame rates, malfunctioning NPC AI, game freezes and crashes and other graphical issues. Though these problems are present on every platform (even high end PC’s), AMD owners seem to be the worst hit by them. Ubisoft has acknowledged this on a forum post by their community manager Justin Kruger:

"We are aware that the graphics performance of Assassin’s Creed Unity on PC may be adversely affected by certain AMD CPU and GPU configurations. This should not affect the vast majority of PC players, but rest assured that AMD and Ubisoft are continuing to work together closely to resolve the issue, and will provide more information as soon as it is available."

Well the good news is that Ubisoft has taken notice of these bugs and are even working on a patch to fix this. The bad news is that players will have to bare up with these problems till a patch is released.

Understandably, there are many upset players who now have a very negative opinion of Ubisoft and the game. It has even affected the company’s stock, which is down nearly 10% since the games release. SoUbisoft better get to fixing these problems fast.

For those of you who are not facing any technical issues with the game, head over to this forum post on Steam, looks like Ubisoft might need your help on squashing these bugs.
