Update: Destiny update producing “Stinkbug” errors for many players

Destiny is an online first-person shooter video game in a mythic science fiction open world. Developed by Bungie and published by Activision, the game was released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 9, 2014. The game is set 700 years into the future in the post-apocalyptic world and offers the opportunity to the players to create the character, choosing it's race and class. Choosing a class has a distinctive effect on the game and on the character development But recently this first person shooting game received an update, one that seemingly prepared the game for the series of upcoming events. But unfortunately, this update produced a new error that many players were facing and stopped them from connecting to the game's online server altogether.

The stinkbug error message some people are seeing is expected. Prior to downloading the update, an announcement was made by the creators via Twitter, where it revealed that the players will have to find another game or activity to fill their time with for a " few hours". As of now, the updates are working fine and creating no problems for the players to sign in to the server.
