‘Warlord’ – as it is called, has been revealed as the final remasterd map in “Halo 2 : Anniversary,” inside the “Halo : The Master Chief Collection”. The map is a remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved Classic Wizard, which was called Warlock in Halo 2. This is the sixth and final map to be totally remastered for the collection after Ascension, Coagulation, Lockout, Zanzibar & Sanctuary.
Each of these remastered maps will be recreated using a new engine for Xbox One with all of them featuring minute design changes to freshen up the maps while the original designs remain intact. The maps will also undergo visual enhancement and will boast better graphics quality.
Few days ago, we revealed new screenshots for Halo : Combat Evolved (also featuring in the collection) on Xbox One earlier this week. It is worth noticing that all of the original maps from Halo 2 and all the other games featuring in Halo: The Master Chief Collection will still be playable, that too in 1080p at 60FPS. That is some good news for Halo fans.
