There is no doubt that Deadlock is a difficult game. Finding the right Deadlock heroes for beginners could be quite challenging, considering they all have their own complications. Grey Talon and other Deadlock heroes for beginners

1) Grey Talon

Without a doubt, Grey Talon is one of the easiest Deadlock heroes for beginners to master. This unit features straightforward abilities, all revolving around its bow. Here are all the abilities of Grey Talon:

  • Charged Shot: Shoots a charged arrow that gives high damage.
  • Rain Of Arrow: Launches you high in the air for a few seconds and shoots multiple arrows at once.
  • Immobilising Trap: Throws an automatic trap that immobilizes enemies.
  • Guided Arrow: Launches a spirit owl that you control. Upon explosion, it stuns the enemies in its radius and gives massive damage.

2) Bebop

Bebop is an interesting and mysterious character in Deadlock. Here are all the abilities of Bebop:

  • Exploding Uppercut: Deals a melee damage that also throws the enemy back.
  • Sticky Bomb: Attaches a sticky bomb that deals high damage upon explosion.
  • Hook: Quickly grabs the enemy with a hook, dealing high damage and leaving them extremely vulnerable.
  • Hyper Beam: Shoots a high-energy laser beam that deals high damage and slows down the enemy. You ascend in the air, making it impossible for you to move.

3) Haze

Haze has become one of the fan favorites lately. With fast movements and dual SMGs, she can easily take on an enemy with simple gunplay. Here are all the abilities of Haze:

  • Sleep Dagger: Throws a dagger that gives damage and makes the enemy sleep for a few seconds.
  • Smoke Bomb: Throws a smoke bomb that makes you invisible for a few seconds.
  • Fixation: Enabling this gradually increases your weapon damage as you hit the enemy.
  • Bullet Dance: Haze enters her Ultimate Phase, making it almost impossible to kill her due to her fast and blurry movements. Her gun deals extra damage and a temporary aimbot is enabled.

4) Infernus

Infernus is not only one of the best Deadlock heroes for beginners but also a very frustrating one to play against. All of his abilities and weapons are based on flames:

  • Catalyst: Slows the enemy and amplifies your damage for a few seconds.
  • Flame Dash: You sprint at high speed and leave a burning trail behind.
  • Afterburn: The more bullets you hit, the higher the burn damage.
  • Concussive Combustion: You turn into a living bomb that deals high damage upon explosion as well as also some burn damage.

  • Card Trick: Throws a damage-dealing playing card at the enemy.
  • Project Mind: Teleports to the targeted location.
  • Full Auto: Boosts your and your nearby ally's weapon fire rate.
  • Telekinesis: Lifts the enemy in the air and stuns the enemy. Upon landing, they also receive high damage.

7) Shiv

Adding Shiv to the list of Deadlock heroes for beginners might look confusing to a lot of experienced players. But hear me out, this hero is not as complicated as it seems. Some community-made Shiv builds make it extremely easy for the players to utilize all of Shiv's abilities the right way. His abilities are:

  • Serrated Knives: Throws a knife that gives instant damage and slows the enemy. It also makes them bleed for a few seconds.
  • Slice and Dice: Performs a quick dash in the enemy's direction to deal high melee damage.
  • Bloodletting: Temporarily decreases the incoming damage you receive.
  • Killing Blow: If the enemy shows a red square on them, activating this ability will instantly eliminate them. If the enemy has more health than the threshold required, they still receive massive damage and bleed for a few seconds, leaving them almost dead.

8) Vindicta

Vindicta is the only scoped rifler in the game. If you have a good aim in other games, then she would be a great hero for you to start with. Here are her abilities:

  • Stake: Tethers the enemy location temporarily to the place where the stake is thrown.
  • Flight: Vindicta leaps in the air and her weapon damage increases, similar to Grey Talon.
  • Crow Familiar: Your crow familiar deals impact damage and applies a bleed that further deals damage based on the target's current health.
  • Assassinate: The scoped rifle is used to fire a powerful shot over long distances. Deals only partial damage until fully charged after 1s of being scoped. Does bonus damage to enemies with less than 50% health remaining.

9) Abrams

Abrams is a legendary detective from New York City who has devoted his life to solving the mystery of Tome. Here are his abilities:

  • Siphon Life: Drains the health of the enemies in a small radius.
  • Shoulder Charge: Charges forward and drags the enemy until an obstacle comes or the time runs out, dealing high-impact damage.
  • Infernal Resilience: Regenerates a portion of incoming damage over time.
  • Seismic Impact: Abrams leaps high into the air and then jumps with massive force, dealing high damage to enemies nearby.

10) McGinnis

McGinnis is yet another hero who can be perfected by finding the best build. Here are her abilities:

  • Mini Turret: Deploys a Mini Turret that automatically shoots enemies.
  • Medicinal Spectre: Deploys a capsule that heals nearby units.
  • Spectral Wall: Deploys a giant wall in front, blocking the whole lane for a temporary amount of time.
  • Heavy Barrage: Shoots massive rockets while making loud siren noises to confuse the enemy.
