Major changes coming in Apex Legends Season 22
1) Aim assist nerf
The mouse and keyboard players have constantly complained about the broken aim assist on the controllers. There have been constant arguments about the controller vs mouse and keyboard debates in the Apex Legends. Developers have recognized the unfair advantage that controller players have, and the aim assist will be reduced by 25% on PC in Apex Legends Season 22.
2) Healthbars
The new season of Apex Legends is going to feature healthbars. This was confirmed in the reveal trailer for Season 22. The new system will provide players with even more details about the enemy as hitmakers were previously clunky and inaccurate. The health bar will only appear once the targetted enemy is in the line of sight.

3) Red outline on enemies
Apex Legends Season 22 will reportedly feature a red outline on enemies. This will help players spot enemies. The community has raised complaints about the spotting issue where enemies get camouflaged in the map environment, which leads to difficulty in combat. This problem especially happens in corners and enclosed spaces as they have camping spots for players due to the lack of visibility.
4) Fresh loot system
Apex Legends Season 22 will feature a new loot system where all the loot bins will get refreshed mid-way through the game. This system is similar to the loot system in Warzone. This feature will give all players a chance to replenish their loot and increase their chances of survivability. The map will feature Gold and Mythic bins with the latter being highlighted on the map.

5) Aim flinch
The aim flinch occurs when the character gets hit stunned while getting shot at. This is a controversial mechanic that is being removed from the game in Season 22 of Apex Legends. The flinch, however, will work normally within the zone damage. This will allow players to react to the incoming damage as they can counter enemies with zero kickback due to the absence of flinch.
6) Mantling
The Mantling or climbing mechanic is getting a change in Season 22, with players no longer being blocked by their teammates. This mantling system had a glitch where players got repelled from the ladder or object they were climbing over at the same time. This will allow the character models to overlap and mantle over objects at the same time.

8) LMG buff
The LMG weapons will receive significant buffs in the coming season of Apex Legends. A new Gun Shield Generator hop-up will be introduced to LMGs that will work similarly to a Gibby shield. On the flip side, the LMGs will sport reverse recoil during hip-firing making the pattern tighter when holding the trigger.

9) Revival mode
The Revival mode will replace the standard pub trios where players will be respawned after a set duration. This feature will be similar to the Three Strikes LTM introduced during the previous season of Apex Legends. However, the Ranked mode will work similarly in the standard fashion.
10) New E-District map
The New E-District map will debut in Season 22 of Apex Legends. This is a neon-themed map that will feature new POIs and serve as the main highlight of the new season. The map is dense and features more buildings compared to other maps, making it a favorable destination for fast-paced gameplay.
