Since its launch a few days ago, Marvel Rivals has faced severe criticism from players. Many of them encountered cheaters in their recent matches, which shocked the community and prompted questions about how a game only a few weeks old could already have such issues.
This was reflected in a recent Reddit post by u/OviWan91, who shared a 30-second clip of a Luna Snow player and accused them of cheating in-game. This sparked chaos in the community, with players echoing their frustration. A user u/c0rnkob420 expressed:
“100% a cheater that’s actually insane lmao”

Many players commented on u/OviWan91’s post, which appeared to criticize the game. User u/hiisthisavaliable talked about the embarrassment the company could face if it couldn't even block the most common cheats. They also raised the question of whether the game has any anti-cheat system to prevent this hacking.

User u/Hattrickher0 expressed that they didn't think it was cheating until Luna Snow fought Venom.
Another user, u/alilbleedingisnormal, claimed the cheater was likely using an auto clicker since "no one" could click that fast. The video showcased Luna Snow attacking and eliminating her opponent in a seemingly unnatural manner, which the Redditor suggested is not possible without hacking.
Humorously, through his comment, user u/ps2man41 attributed the player's skill to their "better gaming chair."
Meanwhile, several players expressed shock after watching the clip. For instance, Redditor u/Footbeard commented that even Spiderman can't shoot webs that fast. Other users followed up with comments indicating the Luna Snow player was indeed cheating. One user, u/ZyzzL9SecretJutsu, suggested that the player could be using a cheat to bypass the client-sided FPS issues that were supposedly slowing down characters like Wolverine, Magik, and Venom, among others.

The Marvel Rival community has been complaining about its potential cheating problem since just a few days after its release. The most commonly reported issues include wall hack and aim bot, but several players also noticed cheats like speed hack and auto clicker, which we discussed in the previous section.
Judging by the community's reactions to various clips online, players are eager to see the game's anti-cheat system fixed. However, there has been no official statement from the developer's side addressing these concerns.
