2nd Wave of Amiibo figures to be released in December

Amiibo Figures has been one of the biggest reveals this year by Nintendo. It had been stated earlier that Nintendo will be releasing a set of 12 Amiibo figures that include Skylanders and Disney Infinity along side the release of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, but Nintendo has now revealed when to expect the second wave as well.

Recent news have stated that, Super Smash Bros for Wii U will be coming out on November 21st in the US, along with Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker which will follow up after a few weeks on December 5.

Nintendo has also taken the chance to announce that the second set of Amiibo figures will be coming to the US in December.

In addition to the previous 12, the second set will include fighters from Super Smash Bros.

  • Zelda
  • Donkey Kong
  • Luigi
  • Little Mac
  • Pit
  • Captain Falcon

These characters will join Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth, which will be coming on November 21.

The 18 Amiibo figures will retail for $12.99, which is cheaper than the rest of it’s competitors, so that fans can buy them all.

Lastly the figures are not just exclusive to Super Smash Bros Wii U as they will be compatible with the 3DS soon and other games like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
