2XKO League of Legends fighting game alpha lab playtest: Schedule, how to sign up, and more

Riot Games has announced a playtest for a brand-new fighting game based on League of Legends called 2XKO. The alpha lab playtest starts in August 2024 in selected regions, including the US, Canada, Japan, UK, Mexico, France, and Brazil. Formerly called Project L, the title is scheduled to launch in 2025 and is available to play on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

The alpha lab playtest for 2XKO starts on August 8, 2024, and ends on August 19, 2024. Only players who received the playtest invites can play the game on their chosen platform (PC, Xbox X|S, PlayStation 5).

How to sign up for the 2XKO League of Legends alpha lab playtest

To sign up for the 2XKO fighting game, it is important to have a Riot account first. If you don't have an account yet, make sure to Register on Riot Games' official website.

Once you get your own Riot account, follow the steps below.

1. Go to the official 2XKO website.
2. Scroll down to find the 2XKO Alpha Lab sign up button.
3. Select the Register button located at the lower-left corner of the page.
4. Enter your Riot account.
5. Wait for the registration confirmation on the webpage.
6. Wait for an interest survey on the email linked to your Riot account.
7. Fill out the form.
8. Accept your invitation by choosing a platform.
9. Download the game and start playing on the scheduled dates.

If you're selected for the playtest, you will receive an invite link, including a personal referral link to invite a friend.
