This build focuses on maximizing Zhongli’s Elemental Burst, which is capable of dealing massive AoE Geo damage and petrifying enemies. The best weapons for this build include Staff of Homa or Primordial Jade-Winged Spear for high burst potential. Other than the 5-star Polearms, you can also consider using the Crescent Pike, or the White Tassel.

Equip him with a 2-piece Archaic Petra and a 2-piece Noblesse Oblige to increase his Geo and Elemental Burst damage. As for leveling up his Talents, prioritize his Elemental Burst first, followed by his Elemental Skill.

Using this Zhongli build also gives you the opportunity to place him in a mono-Geo team, meaning a team that comprises Geo characters only. In order to make this team effective, you can use the following characters alongside the Geo Archon:

• Gorou (support unit for further increasing Geo damage)
• Arataki Itto/Navia (Main DPS)
• Ningguang/Chiori (Sub-DPS)

Physical DPS Zhongli utilizes his skills for consistent damage output. This build revolves around using his Normal Attacks, while supported by weapons like the Crescent Pike — a 4-star Polearm that outshines even 5-star options in this build.

Pairing this with a 4-piece Pale Flame set or a 2-piece Pale Flame and 2-piece Bloodstained Chivalry boosts his Physical DMG significantly. For Talents, prioritize his Normal Attacks, followed by his Elemental Burst and Skill.

When it comes to team compositions for this build, you mainly need to ensure that you have good off-field Electro and Cryo units that can swiftly apply their respective elements and trigger the Superconduct reaction to buff the Geo Archon's physical attacks even further. Here are some recommended characters to pair him with:

• Raiden Shogun/Fischl (for off-field Electro application)
• Qiqi/Charlotte (for Cryo application)
• Mika (can buff Physical DMG even further)

Cryo Zhongli

Cryo Zhongli is one of the more unique builds for this Geo character in Genshin Impact. In order to make this one work, you will need to use very specific characters in your team.

The weapon of choice in this build can be either the 5-star Polearm Staff of Scarlet Sands or the 4-star Dragon's Bane, if you aim to do Freeze or Melt reactions with your Cryo Zhongli. Otherwise, any of the Polearm weapons mentioned in the Burst DPS build would work too.

For your Artifacts, you can use the 4-piece Blizzard Strayer, or you can combine a 2-piece Blizzard Strayer set with either a 2-piece Wanderer's Troupe or any other set that increases either your Elemental Mastery or Normal Attack damage.

For your Talents, prioritize your Normal Attacks, then Elemental Burst and Skill.

As mentioned earlier, you will need a specific character to make this build work — Chongyun. By using his Elemental Skill, Chongyun will infuse Zhongli's Normal Attacks and make them deal Cryo damage. As such, you can utilize these two characters in various Melt and Freeze team compositions, where the other characters can be:

• Bennett/Kazuha, and Xiangling
• Barbara and Furina
