It has been quite tough to acquire orders for the upcoming Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL, which is coming out in just two weeks. It has been a rough few weeks for a lot of people from those who had their pre-orders cancelled to those that were not able to get a pre-order in period. It has been reported recently that retailers will not be getting any additional stock in-stores on February 13.
It has been reported recently that only Fry’s Electronics may have some on the launch day according to their official Twitter page.
However, it looks as though one more retailer in the US could have a few according to an employee at Target.
A verified employee called the AliceFromTarget on the amiibo subreddit mentioned that she spoke with a Nintendo representative who gave her an information stating that in-store would be receiving a very limited stock of the Majora’s Mask New 3DS XL on its release day on February 13.
Also, it has been reported that she noticed that the system has a retail shelf space for the limited edition handheld. She also mentions that it could just be procedural and combined with what the Nintendo retailer said earlier.
This could only mean that there are about two options, the Fry’s being a certain and the other not so much, so it all depends on the gamers now, so goodluck!
