There are many unique card synergies to use in Marvel Snap (Image via Nuverse)

In Marvel Snap, it's not about having the most powerful cards or the best card combos. It's about how players can effectively counter their opponents. While most of the players continue with familiar combinations, the best strategies are always hidden in the less-used card combinations that are not very popular. In this way, players can achieve the greatest results, manage the board, and make moves that their opponents did not expect.

In 2024, the meta of the game is still shifting, and finding new card interactions is one of the key factors to win. We have compiled a list of various efficient card synergies that will dominate Marvel Snap. These combinations are based on the idea of maximizing your deck's potential by increasing energy, managing lane power, and putting constant pressure on the opponent.

Squirrel Girl creates 1-Power squirrel at all locations, while Beast puts cards back into the player's hand and makes them cost 1 less in the next turn. Together, these two make an explosive board presence by making Squirrel Girl replayable, creating a horde of cheap bodies on the board.

This Marvel Snap synergy is best shown in swarm-style decks, where the sheer number of characters can give you control in multiple locations. The cost reduction from Beast enables you to spam Squirrel Girl across turns. This combination is best at filling many lanes with little investment while providing board-wide control for little energy.

2) Mister Negative and Iron Man

This synergy is especially good for control decks that want to push damage through late in the game (Image via Nuverse)

Mister Negative turns the cost and power of all cards in your deck, and Iron Man’s ability increases the power of any card at any location by two times. If Mister Negative changes Iron Man’s 5-cost/0-power to a 0-cost/5-power card, you are looking at one of the best-value cards in the game.

Iron Man, on the final turn for 0 cost, will let you double the power of a location without spending energy. This Marvel Snap synergy is incredibly effective in decks running other high-cost cards, such as White Tiger or Arnim Zola, allowing you to have the kind of response to your opponent’s board that you need.

3) Sentry and Viper

Sentry calls a -8 Power Void on your rightmost location, which is quite a toll. But, if you pair him with Viper, who sends one of your cards to the opponent’s side, you can transfer the Void to the opponent, thus making Sentry’s disadvantage a strength.

Sentry’s Void is a very powerful ability that can change the situation on the battlefield in your favor, as it greatly damages your opponent’s side. Through Viper, you can pressure your opponent to take the negative Void effect while you get the full bang of Sentry’s 4-cost/10-power.

4) Wong and Black Panther

This synergy makes Wong’s ability to double on-reveal effects turn Black Panther’s power-doubling ability into a powerhouse. If Black Panther is played, his power increases from 4 to 8 and if Wong is also played, the power increases to 16. Combining this with other extra triggers or combos such as odin can take it even higher and can easily spiral into a win condition.

With Wong doubling Black Panther’s effect, and potentially Odin doing it again, you can turn a single card into a 32+ power monster. This Marvel Snap combination is especially useful in burst plays that come as a surprise to your opponent in a single turn.

5) Angela and Kraven

This synergy is especially effective in movement decks when cards such as Cloak, Heimdall, or Iron Fist enable multiple movements (Image via Nuverse)

Angela receives +2 Power every time a card is played in her lane, while Kraven gets +2 Power whenever a card is moved to his lane. Move your cards from one of these lanes to another in order to have a dynamic power boost.

Angela and Kraven are ideal for power scaling since they can switch between different power levels across the lanes all the time. The trick is to activate both characters’ abilities by swapping cards back and forth and thus transform them into powerful assets.
