Five best characters to pair with March 7th (The Hunt) in Honkai Star Rail

Yunli

Yunli is one of the latest additions to the Path of Destruction character roster. She is an exceptional choice to clear most of the activities in Honkai Star Rail. Additionally, building her is quite easy since she needs CRIT and ATK stats like every other normal DPS unit.

March 7th (The Hunt) can assign any of her allies as her Shifu/Master. Assigning Yunli as her master will allow the latter to deal additional damage with her Enhanced Basic ATK since the former treads on the Destruction Path. Moreover, since Yunli can launch consecutive counterattacks, March 7th can also acquire the enhanced version of her Basic ATK frequently.

Firefly is another character you should consider pairing with March 7th (The Hunt) in Honkai Star Rail. Since the latter can also be built as a Break Effect damage dealer, she can utilize Firefly’s Destruction Path to deal extra damage. She is an excellent follow-up attack damage dealer and can enhance her Numby’s FUA with her Ultimate ability. Since she is affiliated with The Hunt Path, March 7th will inflict additional damage on her Enhanced Basic ATK.

If Trailblazers have Topaz & Numby in their collection, it is recommended to pair her with March 7th as both Hunt units can vaporize the oppositions in an instant.

Three characters to avoid when playing with March 7th (The Hunt) in Honkai Star Rail

Acheron

Among the units that don’t dovetail well with March 7th (The Hunt) is Acheron in Honkai Star Rail. The latter’s primary source of damage is her Ultimate ability which the other Nihility units in the team help her activate. If you pair March 7th with Acheron, the former will deal negligible amounts of damage while the latter will not be able to trigger their ultimate ability frequently.

Arlan

Another character that should not be paired with March 7th is Arlan. Looking at his kit, he performs well in hypercarry team compositions. Moreover, his abilities have been a subject of power creep for a couple of Honkai Star Rail updates.

When paired with March 7th, he will be handicapped and will not perform well while the latter won't be able to gain her Charge stacks quickly to enhance her basic attack.
