When pulling for Feixiao in Honkai Star Rail, you will likely end up getting one or multiple copies of the newest 4-star character, Moze. However, since he is a DPS character, he is somewhat reliant on the units that will be paired with him. Therefore, Trailblazers must team him with the characters who have a good amount of synergy with this Shadow Guard.

While keeping everything in mind, let’s take a look at the best characters who you should be pairing Moze with in Honkai Star Rail.

5 best characters you should be pairing with Moze in Honkai Star Rail

1) Feixiao

Since Moze is a dedicated sub-DPS unit, he needs to be accompanied by another DPS character. Looking at the kits of both characters, Feixiao and Moze synergize well with each other as the former requires her allies to unleash attacks to gain Flying Aureus stacks, while the latter also needs his allies to hit the adversary to launch his follow-up attacks. Therefore, both units can easily launch continuous attacks and eliminate the opposition.

Moreover, Moze is one of the featured characters in Feixiao’s event banner, which means Trailblazers who want to build a team with these two units can easily pull for them from one banner. This way, players can save a lot of Star Rail Passes since chasing a single 4-star can be quite expensive.

2) March 7th

Another character you can pair with Moze is March 7th. The free-to-play players who do not have the resources, or just do not want to pull for Feixiao, can use her as an alternative. Moreover, players can acquire all of March 7th’s Eidolons for free, from the main event of version 2.4 and the Luminary Wardance event.

Since March 7th (Hunt) and all of her Eidolons are accessible to all players, you won't have to invest many resources just to build a team for this Shadow Guard. Moving over to gameplay, similar to how Moze’s synergy works with Feixiao, it also works the same with March 7th.

3) Dr. Ratio

Those who haven’t built March 7th or do not have the resources to build her right away, Dr. Ratio is the unit you should be pairing with Moze. Since he was handed out to all players upon his debut, most players have him on their collection. Additionally, he can act as the perfect primary DPS unit of a team composition while Moze acts from the shadows and eliminates the enemies one by one.

Since Dr. Ratio is an FUA unit, he will have good synergy with Moze by default. The former’s ability to simultaneously launch follow-up attacks, allows them to deal absurd damage while also assisting Moze in unleashing his own follow-up attacks.

4) Yunli

While it may be quite unusual, Yunli is a great pair for this Shadow Guard of the Xianzhou Yaoqing. While Moze hides when he enters the Departed state, it will help Yunli get more aggro from the enemies as there are only three characters on the battlefield. This allows the sword hunter to unleash counterattacks consistently and allow Moze to launch his talent’s follow-up attack.

If you do not have Yunli in your collection, Clara is another alternative you can use since both of these units feature identical mechanics.

5) Robin

Due to how Moze’s abilities work, there are a handful of buffers in Honkai Star Rail who work well with Moze, and Robin is one of them. Since the latter does not target a specific character to buff them, her synergy with the Shadow Guard is up on the charts compared to other Harmony units.

Robin’s ATK and damage buffs can be pretty useful to Moze and the Primary DPS unit of the team which will help them clear waves of enemies easily.
