The vast area of Thedas in Dragon Age The Veilguard poses many challenges for players, though the ability to have two allies accompany players on the journey can prove to be rather beneficial. With varied skillsets and abilities paired with unique strengths, the choice of party members to accompany Rook across the campaign is an important one.

The ability to change party members at will also gives players the freedom to explore different pairings. Unlike previous Dragon Age games, however, Veilguard only allows players to have two party members at any given time. With that in mind, here are five great character pairings that can accompany Rook on the many adventures across Thedas.
