5 Best Playstyles in EA FC 25

Introduced in FC 24, Playstyles are among the top EA FC 25 features that add a whole new dynamic to its gameplay. For those unaware, these are unique abilities given to players based on their roles and characteristics. Not only do they make cards more useful in matches, they also replicate how athletes behave while playing real-life football to some extent.

The latest entry in the EA FC franchise has taken this another step further, adding some new Playstyles specific to goalkeepers. Thus, in this article, we will take a look at the five best Playstyles in EA FC 25.

Aerial, Anticipate, and other best Playstyles in EA FC 25

1) Trivela

The Trivela Playstyle is an incredibly useful trait to have among players on your team in EA FC 25. Those who boast it can execute outside-of-the-foot passes and shots, which might remind football fans of Croatia and Real Madrid legend, Luka Modric. Such an ability can come quite in handy, especially when attacking from the wings.

It was a fan-favorite in EA FC 24 and even considered overpowered by some, which just goes to show how beneficial it can be to have players with this ability on your team.

2) Far Reach

Far Reach is one of the newly added goalkeeper Playstyles in EA FC 25. Although simple in effect, it is a much-needed trait that has the potential to keep your team alive in matches for longer. This Playstyle can be found in goalkeepers who are known to save challenging shots by extending their reach, essentially covering the net to a greater extent.

In the game, such keepers will have access to extended-reach animations. They will be able to perform diving saves and have an improved reach overall.

3) Aerial

Aerial is a great Playstyle to have during set pieces as well as during general gameplay. It lets players jump higher and improves their physical presence in the air. This helps in winning those crucial balls that can either result in a goal or a much-needed clearance.

While the Aerial Playstyle is useful on its own, it can work great in combination with players who have the Whipped Pass Playstyle in EA FC 25. For those unaware, this PlayStyle makes more accurate and faster passes with more curves.

4) Anticipate

Playstyles are not just limited to attackers and keepers but are also there for defenders, and one of the best from this bunch is Anticipate. Those with this ability have a greater chance of succeeding in standing tackles, which often proves greatly beneficial in stopping attacks.

Furthermore, defenders in possession of this Playstyle also have an improved chance of stopping the ball directly at their feet during standing tackles.

5) Finesse Shot

Finesse Shot is an incredibly useful Playstyle to have in attackers. Those in possession of it can be lethal finishers for your team, even from a distance. This is because they can add additional and faster curves to their usual finesse shots with a lot more accuracy.

So, even if you don’t have the fastest EA FC 25 players up front, having those with the Finesse Shot Playstyle gives you a good chance at scoring whenever in some space and at the right position.

Although having all of these PlayStyles on your team isn’t absolutely necessary, they do provide a significant advantage that could very well be the difference between defeat and victory.
