Ranked Mode in Apex Legends Season 23 features no restrictions on any weapons, and some loadouts perform better than others. The developers introduce new gun balance changes with almost every seasonal update, buffing the underpowered weapons while nerfing the overpowered ones. This causes the meta to change significantly as entire lobbies start swapping to the more efficient guns.

Best meta weapon loadouts for Ranked in Apex Legends Season 23
Here is a list of all the gun combinations you can use to rank up faster in Apex Legends Season 23 Ranked lobbies:
1) Havoc and Peacekeeper
The Havoc is one of the strongest automatic weapons in the entire game. It features a massive damage output and has one of the lowest bullet drops. This enables you to hit shots more accurately during medium and some long-range gunfights. Despite the latest nerfs in the game, the Havoc remains a meta-tier weapon, and we strongly suggest players use it even in Season 23.
In Season 23, the Havoc has been shifted to the Care Package in the game. Furthermore, the weapon now features a Select fire hop-up that allows players to deal devastating damage with a Charge-rifle-like beam. While you might not find the weapon as ground loot, it will always be beneficial to contest Care Packages to get your hands on this weapon.
Pairing the Havoc with the Peacekeeper can definitely turn the tides of your gunfights. The Peacekeeper is arguably one of the strongest shotguns offered in Apex Legends. The weapon's recently buffed choke feature makes it even more powerful, and just the right secondary weapon for your close-quarter gunfights.

2) Volt and Triple Take
This double energy type combination maximizes your ability to hit long-range shots while covering you for close-range skirmishes. The Triple Take has enough damage output to even act as a shotgun if necessary. However, the Volt would need at least a Level 2 or greater magazine to knock opponents on its own.

The Triple Take can now take advantage of the Boosted Loaded hop-up, increasing its damage output with extra bullets in the magazine. Lastly, we do urge players to prioritize kitting out their Volt with a Level 3 Laser Sight. It will be intrinsic to your gameplay if you have a habit of hip-firing in close range.
3) Flatline and CAR SMG
The Flatline is one of the highest-picked weapons in the game. The Flatline, unlike other automatic rifles, has a slightly slower fire rate. It makes up for its TTK speed with its high damage and consistent output. However, one of the biggest drawbacks of this weapon is its high recoil. We urge players to practice in the firing range to know how this weapon functions, and we strongly suggest that you use it in your Ranked games.
As for the C.A.R. SMG, its latest buffs make it the meta-tier weapon pick for the ongoing season. With its high fire rate and extremely low TTK speed, the C.A.R. is our choice of secondary weapon in this loadout. Furthermore, the added versatility of choosing between light and heavy ammunition and attachment is simply the cherry on top.
The combination of these two weapons is perfect for your ranked adventures primarily because both of them pack really strong punches, and have a ton of versatility. You don't ever have to worry about running out of ammunition since heavy and light ammo is always available during late-game circles.

4) R-301 and Mastiff
The R-301 has been buffed considerably and can put up impressive damage numbers in Apex Legends Season 23. You can pair it up with the trusted Mastiff shotgun to charge into enemy areas and clean up all the loot. The R-301 has an easy-to-control recoil which makes both spraying in long range and hip firing in close range easier.
The R-301, however, struggles when it comes to close-quarter combat. The rifle has very poor hip-fire accuracy, and naturally, you need a powerful alternative for close-quarter scenarios. For that, our choice of secondary weapon is the Mastiff shotgun.
The Mastiff is easier to use, and the newest shotgun buffs definitely make it a must-pick secondary weapon alongside the R-301 AR.
5) Hemlok and Mozambique
The Hemlok is quite a powerful burst-fire weapon that can easily take down enemies with as few as just three full bursts. The idea of keeping Mozambique as the secondary might sound unrealistic but this shotgun can take advantage of Hammerpoint hop-up which can shred enemies after their shields are depleted.
The added Akimbo feature in Apex Legends Season 22 also makes Mozambique a fantastic secondary weapon. You can try out this combo in your Ranked games, and we are certain that you will enjoy every second of it.
That concludes the best weapon loadouts you can use for your Ranked adventures in Apex Legends Season 23.
