Sony's headline God of War Ragnarok has recently been released for the PC platform. Continuing Kratos' story, the title has players traversing the mythic Nine Realms that make up Norse mythology. Joining him on his quest, just like in the first game is his son, Atreus.
Kratos is well-versed with fighting mythic bosses of immense scale and strength. To assist the protagonist in this cause, the player can have him wield the Draupnir Spear, which has some special moves termed as Runic Attacks.
With that in mind, here is our list of five great Runic Attacks that players can use to have an easier time in the game.

5 best Runic Attacks for Draupnir Spear in God of War Ragnarok
1) Mountain Splitter
The Mountain Splitter Runic Attack is acquired after players complete the favor, Spirit of Rebellion. It helps attack multiple enemies simultaneously, as it unleashes large slices of wind towards that cause damage. Upgrading this attack adds additional wind slices, which go flying towards the enemy at great speed. This is a Light Runic Attack:
"Repeated long-range wind slices that stagger enemies. Press (R1) precisely while slashing to enhance each wave."
2) Honor the Fallen
Honor the Fallen makes Kratos charge and leap into the air, coming back to the ground and striking the spear with immense strength. This attack can be obtained from a legendary chest in the Plains of Vanaheim region. Further upgrades allow Kratos to charge up the slam, which can push enemies even further back. This is a Heavy Runic Attack:
"A long-range, leaping dive that slams into enemies with overwhelming force."
3) Vindsvlar's Windstorm
Activating Vindsvlar's Windstorm with the Draupnir Spear in God of War Ragnarok creates multiple cyclone-like vortices of wind. These chase after enemies, damaging them. Upgrading this attack creates additional cyclones, and with increased duration to boot. This is a Heavy Runic Attack.
"An array of chaotic cyclones rampages through the field, damaging all enemies in their paths."
4) The Finger of Ruin
Obtaining the Finger of Ruin requires playerS to have killed all 48 of the ravens found across the Nine Realms. Though a lengthy quest line, the reward will be available inside a Legendary Chest at Niflheim's Raven Tree. Much like the Windstorm, this creates a cyclone. Although, on this occasion, it is a single, large and powerful cyclone.
Upgrades can increase the damage and duration of the cyclone, along with increasing it strength. This is a Heavy Runic Attack.
"Summon a massive tornado to send enemies tumbling in its path."
5) Thrust of a Thousand Soldiers
The Runic Attack Thrust of a Thousand Soldiers allows for Kratos to repeatedly stab enemies, with it even allowing for explosive tips to be attached to the spears such that they can be blown up. Upgrades to this allow for additional spears to be stabbed into enemies, also increasing the number of times that Kratos stabs. This is a Light Runic Attack.
"Perform a flurry of stabs with Draupnir which embed Spears into the enemy. Press R1 for extra stabs!"
