Best combos to use with Symbiote Spider-Man in Marvel Snap 2024

1) Deadpool

Deadpool's synergy with Symbiote Spider-Man offers a unique destruction-based gameplay loop. When destroyed, Deadpool returns to hand with double the power and a decreased energy cost. Hence, this strategy revolves around using cards like Carnage and Deathlok to consistently destroy Deadpool and increase its power.

Once Deadpool's cost becomes negligible, Symbiote Spider-Man can merge with him to retain their combined increased power. Players can start by dominating a single location while baiting opponents to spread their resources thin before setting Deadpool up for a powerful comeback. This loop also requires proper management of time-destructive combos and resources, making it a highly tactical strategy for Marvel Snap.

2) Nova

Nova's ability to grant cards +1 power upon destruction is the central part of this synergy. The loop starts by strategically placing Nova in a location and then placing Symbiote Spider-Man. Upon merging, it will grant +1 to all active cards in every location with an option to reactivate it as and when the player chooses. Then, a destructive card can destroy and consume Symbiote Spider-Man without affecting the +1 power to all active cards.

The USP of this combo is its ability to maintain consistent pressure across locations, making it difficult for opponents to spread their cards out evenly. It focuses on mid-game setup, empowering locations without committing all resources early, giving players a tactical advantage in Marvel Snap.

3) The Hood

The Hood typically comes with a downside of -3 power in exchange for a cheap 6-power Demon card in the deck. Players can begin by playing the Hood in a low-priority location, where negative power won't be a significant liability. Then, they can use Symbiote Spider-Man to destroy the less powerful Hood and add one more Demon card to their hand.

The gameplay loop revolves around effectively using low-cost cards to generate a couple of massive value cards in the deck. It can also be paired up with Bishop to power up every time a card is played. Moreover, if a particular location is getting cluttered, players can use Venom to destroy cards while preserving the total power.

4) Mysterio

Mysterio provides +4 power to the location it is played at while creating useless copies of himself in other places. Merging Symbiote Spider-Man with Mysterio capitalizes on this misdirection, allowing players to suddenly fill the board with cards disrupting their opponent's end-game strategy.

The plan here is to confuse the opponent about which location to contest using Symbiote Spider-Man's hidden power. Players can also use Patriot and Onsaulght to increase the power of illusory cards across all locations. Moreover, in a destruction-based deck, players can power Carnage up by destroying 0-powered deceptive cards.

5) Angela

Angela gains +2 power for every card played in her location, making her an efficient early-game choice. Merging her with Symbiote Spider-Man not only clears the location for adding more cards but also continues the original card perk. Hence, one can keep building Angela's power by playing cheap cards before retaining it by combining her with Symbiote Spider-Man.

Since playing low-cost cards might have left players with some unspent energy, they can play She-Hulk for a reduced price, providing a massive +10 power to Angela's location. Then, in the final round, one should use the Living Tribunal to distribute the power evenly across all locations, winning them the match.
