Emilie, the latest 5-Star Dendro character from Fontaine, has been released in version 4.8 of Genshin Impact. She's a sub-DPS who can be played either on- or off-field, depending on player preferences. Her kit focuses on buffing Burn reactions and providing Burn RES to all team members. While this makes her kit rather niche, she can work quite well as an off-field support in Burning-based team compositions.
She can fit considerably well in quite a few teams, such as the ones listed below.

5 best team compositions for Emilie in Genshin Impact
Emilie works best in teams that can use her Burning buffs, but she can also fit in other teams such as a Burgeon team or a Melt team. Do keep in mind that Emilie's passive makes her unsuitable in teams with Electro characters, so avoid Quicken and Aggravate teams if you plan on using Emilie as an on-field DPS.
These are the best team compositions for Emilie in-game right now:
1) Emilie, Arlecchino, Bennett, Xiangling
This mono-Pyro team can take full advantage of Emilie's kit by using her as an off-field support who can steadily apply Dendro for the on-field Pyro DPS characters (Arlecchino and Xiangling) to use. This team maximizes everyone's damage potential by constantly triggering Burning reactions.
2) Emilie, Furina, Bennett, Xiangling
This team is Emilie's best Burgeon/Vaporize team, with Emilie herself being the main on-field DPS. Furina's Hydro application coupled with Xiangling's Pyro attacks and Bennett's buffs can help deal a huge amount of damage within a very short period.
3) Emilie, Wriothesley, Bennett, Xiangling
If you want to play Emilie on a Melt team, putting her in a team with Wriothesely, Bennett, and Xiangling is your best choice. Wriothesley is the main damage dealer in this team comp, with Emilie being the off-field Dendro sub-DPS. Xiangling and Bennett will also serve as off-field supports, with Emilie ensuring that no one takes too much damage from self-burning, thanks to her Burn-res buff.
4) Emilie, Nahida, Nilou, Kokomi
Even though Emilie is best suited for Burning team comps, she is a Dendro unit after all, so she can also be used very well in Bloom teams. One such team you can try is Emilie, Nahida, Nilou, and Kokomi. Make sure to equip Nahida with the 4-piece Deepwood Memories artifact set for extra Dendro RES shred. Even though Emilie will not have access to her Burning-focused buffs in this team, she can deal a decent amount of damage.
5) Emilie, Dehya, Bennett, Xiangling
This is another mono-Pyro team comp you can play Emilie in, using her as an off-field sub-DPS. If you like Dehya's playstyle and are lacking reasonably good team comp options to play her in, this one will help maximize her output potential. Emilie's off-field Dendro application will constantly trigger Burning reactions that Dehya can use to dish out some good damage.
Additionally, Emilie's Burn-res passive will make sure you can keep Dehya on-field without switching her out due to low health from self-burn damage.
