1) The Herta’s release

One of the things that Honkai Star Rail players should look forward to is The Herta’s release. Right after this turn-based gacha title was released, players have been eagerly waiting for her debut. After almost two years, they can finally rejoice as The Herta will become playable in January 2025.

The Herta will follow the Erudition Path and wield the Ice element, similar to her 4-star variant. However, her playstyle will be quite different, bestowing players a completely new feel when using her to complete activities.

2) Debut of Honkai Star Rail 3.0

Honkai Star Rail version 3.0 is set to debut in January 2025. The update is scheduled to introduce a brand-new destination, Amphoreus to Trailblazers, and a new playable Path, Remembrance. Version 3.0 will also feature several events that will grant players a generous amount of Stellar Jades, allowing them to purchase Star Rail Special Passes that are required to roll in the limited-time Warp banners.

Several QoL features are set to be implemented in Honkai Star Rail this month. These quality-of-life features come in various forms that will make Trailblazers’ experience far easier when playing this HoYoverse title.

Additionally, HoYoverse decided to increase the Trailblaze Power cap to 300 from 240, allowing players to hold more of this resource each day before it overflows. This will significantly help players who don't play the game frequently.

4) Version 3.1’s Closed Beta

Since version 3.0 will debut on January 15, Closed Beta for Honkai Star Rail version 3.1 will likely go live a day before. HoYoverse hand-picks some individuals to playtest their upcoming characters and content to make sure everything is perfect before their final release.
