5 best Xilonen team comps in Genshin Impact

Xilonen is a new 5-star character releasing in version 5.1 of Genshin Impact. She is a Geo Sword user and the third 5-star unit to be released from the Natlan region, following Mualani and Kinich. She primarily plays the support role in a team. While she can also be used as a DPS character, she shines the most as a support unit.

Xilonen's kit is designed around providing Elemental RES shred (which equals to overall increased damaged output) and healing, which means that a lot of DPS characters can benefit from her presence.

This article lists five of the best teams that Xilonen can be used in once she is released in Genshin Impact 5.1.

5 best team compositions with Xilonen in Genshin Impact

1) Xilonen, Mualani, Xiangling, Furina

If you own Mualani, this Genshin Impact team featuring Xilonen is one of the best teams. Xilonen's presence in this setup will help increase Mualani's damage by providing Hydro RES shred. Make sure you have the new Natlan 4-piece, Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City, equipped on Xilonen, which can give up to 40% extra Elemental DMG bonus.

Additionally, Mualani's third Ascension Passive makes it so that when another party member uses a Nightsoul Elemental Burst, her own personal Elemental Burst damage increases. Use Xilonen's Elemental Burst first, followed by Mualani's to activate her passive and further boost her damage.

2) Xilonen, Neuvillette, Kazuha, Furina

A team with Neuvillette, Furina, Kazuha and either Baizhu or Zhongli is considered the best for main DPS Neuvillette currently. Upon release, Xilonen could be added to this party in place of Baizhu/Zhongli.

Xilonen takes the best of both Zhongli and Baizhu's kits by providing Elemental RES shred and healing. Don't forget to equip the 4-piece Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City artifact set on Xilonen for an extra damage boost for both Neuvillette and Furina.

Do also keep in mind that Zhongli's absence from this team means that you will lose a shield and interruption RES, so don't forget to play Neuvillette accordingly.

3) Xilonen, Arlecchino, Kazuha, Bennett

This is a mono Pyro team with Arlecchino as the main DPS. With Xilonen's addition to this setup, Arlecchino's damage output will be greatly boosted as she will be buffed by three supports, in addition to Kazuha's crowd control.

If you don't need CC or you don't have Kazuha, you can switch him out for Yelan or Xingqiu in this team composition.

4) Xilonen, Navia, Xiangling, Bennett

This team composition is good for Geo DPS main players. If you have a Geo DPS character such as Navia (or even Itto), you can add Xilonen and create this team to buff your Navia/Itto's damage.

As for the other two characters, you can switch them out for any other pair of Electro, Hydro or Cryo characters. This will help boost both your Geo DPS, as well as the other two characters wielding that particular element (either Pyro, Hydro Elctro or Cryo).

5) Xilonen, Ayaka, Shenhe, Furina

Xilonen can also fit in very well in a Freeze team with Ayaka and Shenhe. Her presence will help buff both Ayaka and Furina's damage.

Xilonen's Geo application is pretty low, so she can be comfortably used in this setup as she won't accidentally shatter freeze. Additionally, her Elemental Burst's ability to provide healing to the active character will help negate the HP drain from Furina's Elemental Skill.
