Darksiders 3 and Remnant 2 developer Gunfire Games returns to helm a brand-new entry in the iconic action-adventure series "Darksiders". With the last mainline entry released in 2018, this new teaser marks five years since fans have waited for an all-new chapter in the saga of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - but is this a sequel, remake, or something else entirely? The answers remain unclear for now.

2) New unnamed horror game from Tarsier Studios

Swedish developer Tarsier Studios is renowned for their Little Nightmares series of side-scroller horror platformers, including the upcoming Little Nightmares 3. However, a new teaser at the THQ Nordic Showcase 2024 depicts something fresh brewing, depicting a large pig with intestines falling out of its body. Whatever this is, fans will need to wait until the upcoming Gamescom 2024 showcase, specifically the Opening Night Live on August 20, 2024, to know more.

3) Gothic 1 Remake gameplay

Return to the Colony in the upcoming remake of the cult classic CRPG Gothic. Developer Alkimia Interactive showcased 4 minutes of in-game footage, depicting a rich, detailed fantasy world reimagined from its 2001 counterpart to deliver a more immersive, realistic experience. Players will interact with the world and its factions in numerous ways as they explore, craft, and fight alongside allies on a familiar journey.

4) Titan Quest 2

After being announced last year, THQ Nordic Showcase offered a first look at the debut gameplay for Titan Quest 2. Acting as a successor to the 2006 original, this bigger, bolder rendition allows players to dive into a world of myth to battle magical creatures, powerful beasts, and unknown horrors in pursuit of powerful loot and weapons. It targets PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S platforms for final release.

5) Wreckfest 2

The cathartic demo-derby racer is back with Wreckfest 2 from Bugbear Entertainment. Engage in heated races against opponents and experience the realistic, physics-driven damage model to crumple vehicles. The game is headed to PC in the future.
