Zenless Zone Zero is the latest HoYoverse game that is taking gacha and ARPG genre fans by storm. This new title features anime-style visuals, quirky characters, and action-oriented gameplay. While it is available on most platforms, following the tradition of other HoYoverse games, it has still not been released on the Nintendo Switch.
Thankfully, in this list, we have shared five games that can help all Nintendo Switch users fill the Zenless Zone Zero-shaped hole in their libraries.

1) Okami

Okami comes to mind whenever artistic video games are being discussed. This beautiful 2017 remaster from CAPCOM had both visual appeal and environmental storytelling. Although Okami doesn’t seem very similar to Zenless Zone Zero, both of these games have much more in common than you think.
The biggest similarity between these two titles is the combat and the world. If you want a Zenless Zone Zero-like action adventure in a much more soothing and visually appealing setting, Okami is the game for you.
2) Bayonetta

Before Bayonetta stepped in with her absurdly high heels and over-the-top flamboyant personality, the Nintendo Switch had a reputation as a console for “children.” But thanks to Hideki Kamiya's progressive vision, the mind behind the Devil May Cry series, the Nintendo Switch got one of its most popular girl bosses.
Bayonetta has an action-heavy, combo-driven combat mechanic that is very similar to Zenless Zone Zero. Many believe some attacks and mechanics found in ZZZ are actually inspired by Hideo Kamiya’s works like Bayonetta and Devil May Cry.

3) Hollow Knight

If you like platformers (like Celeste) and Metroidvanias, then there is a high chance you will adore this indie gem. It features hand-drawn visuals, platforming gameplay, and a world bustling with a lot of personality and style. Those who appreciate the quirkiness and dark themes of Zenless Zone Zero will definitely love Hollow Knight.
The action-packed gameplay and high-drama storyline are the cherries on top that make this indie hit a must-play. A sequel for this game named Hollow Knight 2 Silk Song is already in the works, but so far there hasn't been any official release date announced for it.
4) Digimon Survive

For the longest time, Digimon games had a bad reputation. They were accused of being overly complex, too grindy, and not very fun to play. But Digimon Survive changed the outlook on the IP, by offering a video game that faithfully encapsulates the franchise while being fun and intriguing.
Digimon Survive is a hybrid visual novel and tactical RPG, which makes it quite similar to Zenless Zone Zero. Other than that, both games feature anime-inspired visuals and a set of charming characters.
5) Astral Chain

Astral Chain is probably the closest you can get to a flashy, character-swapping anime-style action RPG like Zenless Zone Zero. Just like ZZZ, it features a futuristic world where you have to fight hordes of otherworldy enemies. You can control your character and the legion that they possess to devastating chain combos and flashy finishers.
As there has been no word of Nintendo planning to add any HoYoverse games to its library, Astral Chain can help you fill in the gap on the Nintendo Switch.
