#3. World War Z

World War Z was first a book, then a generic action flick starring Brad Pitt and now a four-person co-op third-person shooter. World War Z is not quite like the movie but it has a really interesting plot as well as really well-designed gameplay.

You can choose six unique classes to battle the smart and difficult AI Zombies which get harder to beat as you go on. The setting of the game takes place in Moscow, New York, Jerusalem and Tokyo. It's quite similar to Valve's Left 4 Dead series, but a lot harder.

#2. Days Gone

Release Date: April 26

Available on: PS4

Days Gone is another zombie apocalypse survival game, releasing 10 days after World War Z. It is a PS4 exclusive, much like Spiderman, Last of Us, God of War, etc.

However, the game is not quite like World War Z. World War Z emphasises on shooting and destruction. Days Gone has a more in-depth story that also relies on stealth, survival and mobility. It has a bigger open world as well and exploration will be a core mechanic too. You can also use the zombie hordes to your advantage and to help your gameplay strategy.
