5 Games to look forward to in April 2019

#1. Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat is getting its next entry with Mortal Kombat 11 after 4 years. The 25-character strong roster features a variety of characters, including returning characters such as Lu Kang, Raiden, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and more. There are also some new characters such as Gera and Kronika who will be making their debut in MK11.

Characters will be customizable with different slots and even featuring socketed items to enhance power levels, a feature returning from Mortal Kombat X. Cinematic intros, victory screens, and fatalities have customizations too.

The classic X-Ray moves from MK9 and MKX have been reworked into what is called "Fatal Blows". Fatal Blows are moves which can only be used once per game (yes game, not round) when your character is 30% or below health. It can deal a huge amount of damage to your opponent. But if the player missed the Fatal Blow, it will have a long cooldown before they can attempt to do it again.

The gory, bloody action of Mortal Kombat will return on April 23. MK11 is also one of 2019's most anticipated games, not just April.
