Emptying out dungeons entails defeating a whole host of enemies, and this process will reward players with a comfortable amount of MAG. Furthermore, taking down optional bosses such as the Fire Dragon Mauna can also help acquire MAG, which may otherwise be missed, if you only follow the main campaign. With the sheer number of side dungeons and optional bosses, farming MAG should be easier.

One very straightforward method to get MAG is to attack enemies, which can be sped up by using a lower difficulty level. As the challenge of enemies is lower, they are more likely to be defeated faster and will consume fewer resources to be demolished. Regardless of the difficulty mode chosen, be it Easy, Normal or Hard difficulty modes, the game will allow for a change in the difficulty level at any time.

Elmenta are found all across the map, and though challenging in some regards, they can be a great way to earn MAG fast. One of the best ways to earn a good amount of MAG quickly is to defeat the Blue Elmenta, a type of enemy found in the Regalith Cathedral. As this enemy type is susceptible to fire damage, using the fire spells with the Mage archetype can help you take them down with ease.

4) Respawning enemies

Aside for Elmenta fights, which can only be defeated or abandoned, most other enemy types can be forced to respawn. While cleaning out a dungeon can be one of the most efficient ways to get MAG, defeating enemies within a dungeon without completely clearing it out will result in enemies respawning. These respawned enemies can be farmed to earn MAG and EXP.

5) Bonding with followers

Simply talking to allies will reward players with a good amount of MAG, and if the answers that may sit best with them are chosen, the rewards can be even greater. This also has the extra benefit of simultaneously leveling up characters, as conversations increase the Bond levels with the followers.
