The Scorpion Lord has the power to inflict both physical and poison damage on the Destined One, which can often lead to an instant death. His Scorpion “tail swipe” attack is particularly challenging to avoid once it latches onto you. This, coupled with his ability to stun and cause mass damage with multiple combos, makes him a very difficult foe to conquer.

The Scorpion Lord can be found in Chapter 4, in the Purple Wind Mountain's secret “Webbed Hollow” area. Though he is an optional boss, the fight can be made easier by utilizing some transformations and Burn spells, which he is not immune to. Additionally, defeating him rewards the player with some beneficial items, which can be helpful for other boss fights.

You can encounter the Hundred-Eyed Daoist King in the game's fourth Chapter, titled Rosy Cheeks, Gray Hair. He can be found in the Temple of Yellow Flowers and appears at the end of the chapter. Defeating this boss unlocks a special location and rewards you with a vessel, although it is no easy task.

There are times when this boss won't be affected by magic spells, which is especially dangerous when he unleashes a dangerous physical combo at the Destined One. Though using the Weaver's Needle can help in this fight, you have to think on your feet at all times. Moreover, this fight cannot be skipped as it is essential to progress the main campaign.

The final boss in the campaign is the Great Sage, and the challenge he poses is quite a difficult one. Moreover, this battle takes place across multiple phases, so it is crucial for you to manage your resources until the final form.

The boss is very accurate with his attacks, and this requires you to time your dodges, attacks, and healing perfectly. Given that there is also a possibility that he can steal the protagonist's healing items and gourd, the fight is full of surprises that can catch unsuspecting players off-guard.

The most challenging boss in all of Black Myth Wukong, Erlang the Sacred Divinity is notoriously difficult to beat. Though players may remember him from the game’s introductory fight mission, the version mentioned here can only be encountered in Chapter 3 of the game. To make this tedious boss fight easier, obtain the Plantain Fan vessel awarded upon completion of Chapter 5, and then return to fight Erlang.

One of the many reasons for him being ranked at the top is, that to defeat him players do not need to focus on just one health bar, but also a dedicated stagger bar which he can replenish at any time. This coupled with the fact that he can easily dodge most attacks and spells, makes him the toughest boss in the game.
